Mini-theatre and Drawing Workshop with Thomas Knappe (Schools Only)

Mini-theatre and Drawing Workshop with Thomas Knappe: 2 December – 3 December 2026, Vejle Bibliotek - Spinderiet, Vejle. Admission is free.

Thomas Knappe's monster-hunter book comes to life as a mini-theatre performance, followed by a drawing workshop where children create their own art. This programme is exclusively for school groups. After the workshop, the class can stay to eat packed lunches and explore the new children's library.

The mini-theatre lasts 20 minutes and is based on Thomas Knappe's interactive universe. The monster-hunter must be prepared for the hunt, visiting the village shops. The audience helps choose weapons, elixirs, and packed lunches, so the children participate throughout the performance.

The drawing workshop runs for 45 minutes. Monsters are terrorizing the land, and the children must equip the monster-hunter to stop them. First they choose which monster to hunt, then decide what weapons and equipment the hunter needs.

Entry is free. The event takes place in the Children's Library with space for 60 children per session. When booking tickets, you must reserve for all participants (children and adults), and provide the school name and year group.

This event is part of the opening programme for ENGEN - Cultural Centre and Library.
