Bioparks across the municipality - Skørping Library

The association "Vild med Rebild" is hosting four storytelling sessions about the bioparks being established in Rebild Municipality. Learn about the biopark near your town and the nature and wildlife the project aims to promote.

A biopark is a local nature project focused on biodiversity. All 10 parks are close to town and designed to serve as open spaces, recreational areas, gathering points, and learning spaces - each tailored to the local biology so plants and animals suit the specific conditions on site.

The association has previously involved private individuals, associations, institutions, and businesses in creating diverse natural habitats. The goal is to shift focus from manicured lawns to areas with high biodiversity, and local stakeholders' knowledge of the area plays a central role in creating and maintaining the parks.
