Inge-Lise Bjørnvig Tells About Jeppe Aakjær

Inge-Lise Bjørnvig, storyteller and musician from the Svanfolkegnen region, has deep knowledge of author Jeppe Aakjær's works. She has visited Terndrup Library before, and this time she puts Aakjær at the centre.

Aakjær used his writing and articles to give voice to society's vulnerable and viewed industrialisation's consequences for nature and animals with both melancholy and anger. Inge-Lise recites selected poems and accompanies on harmonica and flute, while we sing his narrative songs together.

The event is a local prelude to the Literary Folk Meeting on 3 and 4 October, where classical Danish literature is the focus.
