Ginnungagap - Musical Saga Storytelling

From 10 a.m., the trio GINNUNGAGAP fills Hobro Library with songs and music about Norse mythology and ancient times, performed on horns, bone flutes, drums, bagpipes, lyres and other historical instruments.

The group features Emelie Blomgren (known from "X Factor"), Tine K. Skau (Blæsekonen) and Kai Stensgaard (Skramle). The three formed GINNUNGAGAP in 2022 and work with ancient rhythms, alliteration, Old Norse language and Viking life - with an eye for humour and respect for historical sources.

The concert is a prelude to the procession Vølvens Verden on 26 September 2026. Afterwards, you can make your own glowing staff in the library's craft area to take with you in the procession. Remember to book your ticket - it applies to both children and adults.
