About

Ginnungagap is a Danish music group formed in 2022, built around Norse mythology and Viking-age storytelling set to music. The trio consists of Emelie Blomgren (known from X Factor), Tine K. Skau (Blæsekonen) and Kai Stensgaard (Skramle). They perform on ancient instruments - cowhorns, bone flutes, lyres and pibgorns - weaving alliterative verse and old Norse poetic forms into their songs.
