Autumn Holiday: Reading Marathon

Greve Library hosts a reading marathon for children aged 6-16 and their families on a Thursday during the autumn break. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult - maximum one adult per registered child. Registration is required, and participation costs 25 kr. per person.

The entire children's library is set up with reading nooks where you can read alone or together. Aloud reading counts, and you are welcome to bring your own bean bags, cushions, sleeping bags, pillows and reading stuffed animals from home. The Ship and the library's other reading corners are reserved for marathon readers on this day.

Pizza is served for lunch and snacks are provided throughout - bring your own drinks. There are also a couple of activities with prizes for those who need a break, and shortly before the event ends at 15:00, a special prize is drawn among those present. Afterwards, you are welcome to stay and continue reading.
