Catch the Story: The Little Party MINI
Cornflower Ester is having a birthday, and it's being celebrated with an exhibition designed for children aged 2-6. Based on Birgitte Krogsbøll's book The Little Party, the youngest visitors can settle into Mr. Owl's den, listen to stories read aloud, enjoy cakes, and meet Ester's friends.
Children can dress up as a cornflower and serve treats to passersby. They can also colour a balloon, a leaf, or a raindrop and take it home - or hang it up in the library room.
The exhibition is based on Birgitte Krogsbøll's book with illustrations by Lena Nicolajsen, who also created the templates for the exhibition's elements. It was developed in collaboration with exhibition designers Stine Illum and MADUKO by Anna Gammelgaard, along with Hillerød Library, and is now part of Catch the Story's broader universe.
The Little Party MINI is open to all children and their adults throughout the entire period. Certain mornings are reserved for institutional visits - this will be indicated by signage on those days.
