DraumVærk: The Bird Castle

DraumVærk tells an old, eerie fairy tale for the youngest audiences. The Bird Castle is a poetic and sound-filled performance based on the German folk tale about the girl Jorinde and the boy Joringel, who venture into an enchanted forest - and end up in terrible trouble.

Narrator Lotus Lykke Skov and singer Johanne Bådsgaard Lange guide the audience through forest and witch's castle, across meadows and into dreams, where love grows - a journey through joy and sorrow, gnawing hunger, dark nights and shining courage.

Beware, all birds
Now the owl hoots
Now the moon shines
Now Jorinde is caught!

The performance is for children aged 4-7 and their parents. Both children and adults need a ticket. This is the official premiere of The Bird Castle.
