Author Lecture with Annette Bjergfeldt

Singer-songwriter and author Annette Bjergfeldt (born 1961) visits Langeland Library on October 27 for an author lecture. Behind her are two critically acclaimed novels - "Højsangen fra Palermovej" and "Mr. Saitos Rejsebiograf" - both translated into 27 languages.

In October 2026, her third novel, "Himlen over Kattesundet", is published. The story is set in 1910 and revolves around an eccentric inventor family that misses the era's greatest patent. The protagonist Sofia navigates between God, Edison and a cat's paw in her search for love - a tale about flying, falling and finding the right hand along the way.

The lecture focuses on Annette's own path to becoming an author: a winding route that includes a Grammy nomination and at least one concert with a horse as the only audience member.
