Cycling Community for Seniors — Osramhuset, Copenhagen

Free entry

The cycling community is for seniors and others with free time during weekday hours. Rides take place on paths in the city and nature, with pace and distance adapted to participants. Regular bikes and e-bikes are welcome - helmets are mandatory. A ride lasts a couple of hours and includes a coffee break along the way.

No registration is required. The cycling community meets every Wednesday at 10:00 in the courtyard at Osramhuset, Valhalsgade 4, 2200 Copenhagen N. Bike access to the courtyard is from Fafnersgade.

NOTE: On Wednesday, June 24, we meet at the red gates at Klampenborg Station and cycle from there.

About the venue: Osramhuset

Osramhuset is a neighbourhood cultural centre in the Haraldsgade quarter of Nørrebro, close to Skjolds Plads. The building dates from 1953, when it was erected as offices and a warehouse for the light-bulb manufacturer Dansk Osram A/S - making it one of Denmark's earliest prefabricated concrete structures. Run by the City of Copenhagen, it today hosts children's cultural events, postnatal groups and room hire for meetings and private events.
