Debut Fest: joY

Electronic artist joY makes a debut appearance at Brønshøj Vandtårn on Friday, 4 September 2026, presenting a cinematic sound universe built from deep bass, ambient melancholy and industrial textures. The concert takes place inside the listed functionalist water tower from 1928, designed by architect Ib Lunding. The 34-metre-high interior space with over 20 metres of ceiling height creates a distinctive acoustic setting. joY performs three times in Copenhagen this summer, with additional dates at Islands Brygge Bibliotek and Kildevæld Kulturcenter, using music as dramaturgy where transitions unfold as atmospheric scenes. Admission is free.
