Lau makes his debut as an artist on Friday, 4 September 2026 at Brønshøj Vandtårn in Copenhagen. The concert is free and takes place in the listed functionalist water tower from 1928, which features over 20 metres of interior height. Laurids Overgaard performs with his band, presenting Danish songs about growing up, inherited values, and responsibility - ranging from intimate and melancholic to more energetic moments. Brønshøj Vandtårn is one of two Danish concert dates on the tour; the other is scheduled in Ringsted later in the year.

About the venue: Brønshøj Vandtårn

Brønshøj Vandtårn is a listed functionalist water tower from 1928, designed by architect Ib Lunding in reinforced concrete and standing 34 metres tall. It supplied Copenhagen with water until 1999 and has since been converted into a cultural venue. Inside, the ceiling soars more than 20 metres overhead, giving the space a striking reverberation that shapes everything from black metal and poetry to sound art and exhibitions. The tower is run by the cultural centre Pilegården and has no fixed opening hours - the programme determines when the doors are open.
