What does it sound like when a body heals? What does it feel like to find yourself again in the midst of chaos?

Daliyah - also known as Flavia Huarachi - performs Distorción, a live expansion of her debut album released on June 15 on CRRNT Records. The music is both ritual and sonic documentation: a lived experience of violence and trauma.

The audience is invited into an immersive experience that moves through pain and points toward a way forward.

About the venue: Union

Union is a municipally run cultural centre on Nørre Allé 7 in Nørrebro, housed in a former primary school built in 1857. It opened as a community centre in 1993, was known as VerdensKulturCentret from 2006, and took its current name in 2019. The programme is internationally and interculturally focused, with more than 400 events a year ranging from lectures and exhibitions to festivals and concerts. The concert venue Alice, with a capacity of 250, occupies the hall in the back courtyard.
