FORTÆL - The Ice Princess

The Ice Princess tells the story of a child whose heart freezes to ice after being mocked, excluded, and betrayed by someone they trusted. The performance asks: what drives a person to want to control others? And can things ever be good again? The story revolves around betrayal and revenge, but also the power of friendship. The audience plays an active role and helps decide whether the ice princess's heart can thaw.

The performance is for children aged 7 to 11. Admission is free, but registration is required via billetto.dk. The venue is Hans Tausens Church, Halfdansgade 4.

The performance is part of the storytelling festival FORTÆL on Islands Brygge, running from 7-12 September for the fourth time. The festival is organized by Islands Brygge Library, led by festival director Marie Louise, with support from Amager Vest Local Committee. Over five days, there are storytelling performances across the Brygge - at the Culture House, the library, Hans Tausens Church, and Haraldsborg, including bodega storytelling.
