Karsten Skovgaard Trio

Karsten Skovgaard was guitarist and bandleader for Kim Larsen for 25 years. During quiet hours on the road, while the tour bus slept, he wrote a series of melodies - and these form the foundation for the concert "While Kim Was Sleeping".

The title came about spontaneously when guitarist Kevin Monie heard one of the melodies one evening and asked: "Is that what you wrote while Kim was sleeping?" That question became the starting point for a concert where the stories behind the music get as much space as the notes themselves. Skovgaard performs original compositions and acoustic interpretations of selected Kim Larsen classics - including Joanna and Pianomand - alongside bassist Jesper Findshøj and Kevin Monie.

Doors open at 19:30, and the concert begins at 20:00. Seating is unreserved.
