Katrine Schmidt broke through with her debut album Laying My Burdens Down, which earned her the Danish Music Awards' Ud Af Det Blå prize in 2023. Now she is ready with the follow-up Wearing My Heart on My Sleeve, which GAFFA gave five stars in February 2026 with the words: "The 'difficult second album' is not a thing when you sing like she does."

The new album was written in the wake of two contrasting life events: the loss of her father to cancer and becoming a mother. That contrast - grief and joy side by side - is carried by hand-played arrangements and organic sounds around Katrine Schmidt's voice.

At the concert she is accompanied by Johannes Aaen Jensen, Mark Kühn, Søren Schack, Aske Stubkjær Madsen and Mikkel Grue.
