Playroom Monday and Thursday — Valby Kulturhus, Copenhagen
Free entry

The playroom is an ongoing offer for stay-at-home parents, grandparents, or co-parents with children aged 0-4 years. It provides a space for community with other adults with small children while the children play, run, and sing.

On Mondays and Thursdays from 9:00 to 14:00, children and parents/grandparents can use the culture house's facilities on their own: a large rolling mat, various play equipment, and the ability to boil water and heat baby food in the microwave. The playroom is closed during all school holidays and public holidays.

The playroom is self-managed and has no staff. Users are expected to clean up, wipe tables, and put things back in place themselves - and help each other look after the facilities. The code to the rooms is available at the office on the 1st floor. The first person to arrive opens the doors; the last person to leave ensures all doors are locked.
