Description was written before the event

Gry Stokkendahl Dalgas debuted in 2019 with the poetry collection "Det er herfra jeg vil begynde at tale, disse ord kan finde vej", which received the Munch-Christensen Debut Prize. Since then she has published the long poem "Kudan eller Kalven" (2022), the essay "At performe transkønnet vrede" (2022), and the novel "Calluna" (2025) - a body of work that circles around identity, transness, nature, care, and social critique.

Blue Lake is an instrumental project led by American musician and composer Jason Dungan, based in Copenhagen. The project works at the intersection of folk, ambient, jazz, and experimental music, building sounds from handmade string instruments, guitar, clarinet, and acoustic textures. The album "Sun Arcs" (2023) brought the project international attention when the American music magazine Pitchfork named it "best new music".

At the Sydhavn Literature Festival, Gry Stokkendahl Dalgas performs the long poem "Kudan; eller Kalven" with Blue Lake as musical accompaniment - a performance in sound and words about the fragility and pain the body carries.
