Children's Theatre: A Tomato's Life

Teatret Quasi presents this nearly wordless solo performance for the youngest children (0-4 years) and their adults. The story unfolds in a gardener's greenhouse, where a cheeky snail lives - and through animation and music, the performance tells of birth, fertility, death and resurrection as a tribute to the tomato plant and its slow, cyclical world.

All props are made from recycled materials, crocheted, sewn or hand-painted. The plant grows with a pull of a string, and insects are animated with a stick.
