Phil Bates has announced that he will stop touring at the end of 2026. The concert at Portalen on October 30, 2026 at 8:00 PM is part of this farewell tour - and the only stop on Zealand and the islands.

As a longtime member of Electric Light Orchestra Part 2 and The Orchestra, Phil Bates has performed ELO music on stages around the world. The repertoire includes classics such as "Roll Over Beethoven", "Don't Bring Me Down", "Telephone Line", "Evil Woman", "Livin' Thing", "Mr. Blue Sky", "Strange Magic", "Turn To Stone" and "Sweet Talking Woman".

Besides Phil Bates on vocals and guitar, the band consists of drums, bass, keyboards, backing vocals and violin.
