Biblioteket Sønderborg marks the UN's International Day of Reading with a reading marathon for students in grades 4-6. The event takes place in Salen, Nørre Havnegade 15, 6400 Sønderborg.

Students can bring their own favorite books or find new ones on site - there are bean bag chairs, reading tents, and plenty of books ready. Adults are welcome to join.

Only one ticket per class is needed.

Biblioteket Sønderborg is the main public library for Sønderborg Municipality, housed in the Multikulturhuset building on Nørre Havnegade. It lends books, audiobooks, films and digital media, and offers study spaces, computers and free wi-fi. A regular programme of events - author evenings, reading clubs, lectures and workshops - runs alongside the everyday library service. Six branch libraries across the municipality complement the main site.
