The 19th edition of the Danish Stand-up Championship kicks off on September 30, 2026, at Sønderborghus in Sønderborg. Simon Jul - comedian, actor, and musician behind satirical classics like Banjos Likørstue and Torsdag i 2'eren - hosts the event.

A total of 56 comedians compete in preliminary rounds and semi-finals, with the audience voting to select six finalists. The final takes place in Glassalen at Tivoli in Copenhagen, and the winner receives 100,000 kroner plus a nationwide club tour in spring 2027 - the other two in the top 3 join the tour.
