Syddjurs Egnsteater brings the story of Jenny Kammersgaard to the stage - the woman who in 1937 swam across the Kattegat.

The performance is a solo show where Jenny is seen struggling in the water, standing on a pedestal, and in verbal sparring with doubting men - and finally celebrated by a cheering crowd. The play explores what drives a person to do the impossible: willpower, courage, and passion. It was nominated for a Reumert Award for Best Solo Performance 2025.

Age limit from 7 years. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
