Nordals Naturskole opens its doors in the forest for the whole family. The programme includes activities where you build, carve, taste and work creatively with natural materials.

The event is for all age groups and runs throughout the day.

About the venue: Nordals Naturskole

Nordals Naturskole occupies a converted barn building near Sjelleruphus in Nørreskoven on the island of Als - a 740-hectare forest stretching down to the Little Belt, with deciduous woodland, bogs, beaches and ancient monuments. The nature school offers guided outdoor activities for children and adults led by nature guides from Sønderborg Municipality, and houses a collection of taxidermied animals, wall paintings and teaching materials. Outside there is an obstacle trail, a large shelter called Den grønne diamant, a tipi area and an outdoor classroom known as Jagtstuen by the water's edge.
