In collaboration with the library, Litte-Natur Karavanen takes a trip into Nørreskoven forest on Als to search for wildlife in the area. The tour is for children aged 4-10 and takes place with an adult.

Advance booking is required, and there are limited places available.

About the venue: Nordals Naturskole

Nordals Naturskole occupies a converted barn building near Sjelleruphus in Nørreskoven on the island of Als - a 740-hectare forest stretching down to the Little Belt, with deciduous woodland, bogs, beaches and ancient monuments. The nature school offers guided outdoor activities for children and adults led by nature guides from Sønderborg Municipality, and houses a collection of taxidermied animals, wall paintings and teaching materials. Outside there is an obstacle trail, a large shelter called Den grønne diamant, a tipi area and an outdoor classroom known as Jagtstuen by the water's edge.
