A hen is about to lay her very first egg - but where should it go? She is uncertain, and fortunately she meets a sweet squirrel who is happy to help. Then comes a crack! - the egg breaks, and out comes a tiny, adorable chick.

The squirrel thinks it is fun to be big and wants to teach the chick many things - perhaps a bit too much. The squirrel tries to get the chick to do everything his way. But the hen knows best what is right for her little chick.

A musical puppet story about being grown-up, even when you are still a little small. For children aged 1½-6 years and their adults.
