EXTRA - Lecture on Dementia for Family Members

DEMENTIA - UNDERSTAND, SUPPORT AND CREATE MEANING

The Competence Centre for Dementia is holding an extra lecture on 5 November 2026, 15:00-17:30 at Hørup Care Centre, Hørup Bygade 44, 6470 Sydals. The event is free and aimed at family members and close relations of people with dementia.

The programme covers what happens in the brain during dementia, the challenges everyday life can present, and how to meet people with dementia with understanding and respect. Activities and social interaction are also part of the session.

There will be time for questions and dialogue throughout, and coffee will be served.
