Mozart's Oboe Concerto and Beethoven
Koncertsalen Alsion, Sønderborg
Three works shape the evening: Rossini's overture to The Barber of Seville opens the programme, Mozart's Oboe Concerto in C major puts solo oboist Simona Sindrestean in the spotlight, and after the interval Beethoven's 4th Symphony - his most luminous and humorous - closes the concert.
Sindrestean is Romanian-trained, has since studied in Paris and Weimar, and has been principal oboist with Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester since 2015.
The podium is led by Charlotte Corderoy, who in 2025 received the Critics' Circle Award as Conductor of the Year and has conducted both the London Symphony Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra.
Programme:
G. Rossini: Overture to The Barber of Seville
W.A. Mozart: Oboe Concerto in C major
L.v. Beethoven: Symphony No. 4
Conductor: Charlotte Corderoy
Soloist: Simona Sindrestean, oboe
