Portuguese Mornings at Vigerslev Library

Portuguese Mornings is an open, informal meeting place for everyone who wants to speak Portuguese and Danish and meet new people. The meetings take place every other Saturday from 10 to 12, with the first one on January 10, 2026.

Participants gather in small groups with both Portuguese and Danish speakers. There are conversation cards and themes to help get the conversation started, and you don't need to speak fluently - the willingness to listen and participate is enough. Each session ends with a joint wrap-up across the groups.

The event is aimed at Danes who want to learn or practice Portuguese (beginners and experienced speakers alike), as well as Portuguese and Brazilians in Denmark who want to learn or practice Danish.
