Summer Dance on the Quay: Non Stop Bachata

Summer Dance on the Quay is an outdoor dance evening on the dance floor at Kulturhuset Islands Brygge, open to everyone regardless of level. Thursdays feature non-stop bachata - an African dance particularly widespread in Portuguese-speaking African countries. Jens Kvist leads both the instruction and the music.

Each evening begins with a free one-hour introduction to the dance steps, led by an experienced dance instructor. The event is a collaboration between Kulturhuset Islands Brygge and several local dance associations.

You can come alone or with a partner, and no registration is required - just show up.
