On August 23, Škoda Denmark, Kolding Bicycle Club, Kolding Municipality, and the Danish Cycling Union are hosting a free beginner cycling race for children aged 3 to 15 at Verdensmålspladsen in Kolding. No advance registration is required - you can sign up on the day via børnetour.dk.

The race is not about being fastest. All age groups are welcome regardless of bike type and pace, and each participant goes home with a race number, water bottle, gold medal, and diploma.

Programme August 23:

10:00 - Race numbers distributed (by latest 30 minutes before your start).

10:00-12:40 - Škoda stand with BørneTour water bottles. Woom Bikes display bikes can be seen and tested, and Kolding Bicycle Club's youth section is present.

10:30-10:50 - Trial run and warm-up on the course.

11:00 - Ages 3-4: 8 minutes plus final lap. Balance bikes and regular bikes. Parents may run alongside.

11:25 - Ages 5-6: 10 minutes plus final lap.

11:50 - Ages 7-9: 12 minutes plus final lap.

12:15 - Ages 10-15: 15 minutes plus final lap.

12:40 - Finish.
