This creative workshop is inspired by the book "Butterflies" by Sigurd Toftdahl Terkelsen. We learn about these fascinating creatures, then children create their own butterfly using paper, glitter, and imagination.

Open for children of all ages with an adult. Non-Danish speakers are also welcome.

About the venue: Islands Brygge Bibliotek

Islands Brygge Bibliotek on Njalsgade is a small public library that has occupied the same spot in the old part of the Islands Brygge neighbourhood since 1966. The single-room space houses both adult and children's sections, with shelves stocked with new titles. Beyond lending, the library runs reading clubs, author events, book cafés and regular children's activities such as storytelling and theatre. Self-service access is available every day 08:00-20:00; a health card is required outside staffed hours.
