Club Coyote - Release — HUSET, Copenhagen

Club Coyote is a young trio working in the field between Nordic jazz, roots and cinematic music. Dusty trumpet, filmic melodies and acoustic guitars meet in an instrumental universe that shifts between repetitive rhythmic figures and precise melodies - the kind that stick with you like a good pop song.

The band consists of Jon Askjær on trumpet and flugelhorn, Magnus Munk Tækker on acoustic guitar and slide guitar, and Cahlo Heyman Krill on acoustic guitar, banjo and Moog organ bass.

About the venue: HUSET

HUSET in Rådhusstræde is Denmark's first cultural house, founded in 1970 when Copenhagen Municipality handed the listed building over to a group of hippies and artists. Today volunteers and cultural partners run a wide programme across several stages - concerts, theatre, cult cinema, literature events, comedy and debates. The house is also home to Bastard Café, Denmark's first board game café, which opened in 2014. Over the years artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers and Radiohead have performed here.
