Avisen Live 2026 — Albertslund Bibliotek, Albertslund

Avisen Live returns on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Albertslund Library. This autumn edition takes place among the shelves in a cozy setting and features literature, life drawing, theatre, communal dining, and mushroom art.

The programme includes international affairs with correspondent and author Nagieb Khaja and journalist Morten Runge, a debate relay with author Emma Rosenzweig and guests Melanie Kitti and Ulrikke Bak, food storytelling and communal dining with author Jan Pêt Khorto and Madmenageriet, and mushroom art by artist Gitte Juul. Mushroom readings are delivered by Mette Moestrup, Nath Krause, Sofie Isager Ahl, Mycelium, and Søren Gemmer. Charlotte Mwakitula, Ingrid Baraka, and Camma Okotie present the day's TV guide, Graabrødre Chamber Choir and models Viola Faye and Sif Petrea Nielsen invite you to life drawing, and theatre Mungo Park presents the day's theatrical piece. Host is author and musician Lars Emil Foder.

Doors open at 1:30 p.m. Tickets: adults 190 kr., young people (students/under 25) 100 kr., children 0-15 free.

About the venue: Albertslund Bibliotek

Albertslund Bibliotek has been the main public library in Albertslund since 1964, situated on Bibliotekstorvet in the town centre. Its collection covers books, e-books and audiobooks, and the library runs a regular programme of talks, reading clubs and cultural events. The municipal Borgerservice office shares the building, handling passports, health cards and digital citizen services.
