Description was written before the event

ARKEN presents Ann Lislegaard's first major solo exhibition in Denmark. The Norwegian-born, Denmark-based artist showcases her work under the theme Animoid.

About the venue: ARKEN Museum for Samtidskunst

ARKEN Museum for Samtidskunst opened in 1996 on the shore of Køge Bugt, south of Copenhagen. The building, designed by Søren Robert Lund, resembles a ship run aground on the beach - a striking piece of architecture in its own right. The museum presents Danish and international contemporary art from the 1990s to the present, alongside major temporary exhibitions.
