La Baronnade is a 45-minute musical street theatre performance by Les Grooms, where the boundary between audience and performers is deliberately broken down. With humour and improvisation, the group mingles among the spectators - and suddenly you find yourself part of the performance, without noticing when it happened. The performance is for all ages.

It plays at Gårdspladsen by Karens Minde Kulturhus as part of the Children's Culture Festival Kultur For en Tudse (25-28 August 2026) and Copenhagen Street Theatre Festival (23-30 August 2026). Both festivals are part of DIG - Denmark's International Street Theatre Festivals.

About the venue: Sydhavnens Bibliotek

Sydhavnens Bibliotek is housed in Karens Minde Kulturhus on Wagnersvej, set in a park with animals and old trees. The collection covers books, audiobooks and digital media, and a recently added conservatory is fitted out for children and families. Year-round events include concerts, talks and communal dinners, with poetry readings at Sydhavnens Litteraturfestival and children's theatre in summer.
