Peter Testmann Jazz Band performs on Tuesday, 27 October 2026 at Drop Inn, Kompagnistræde, Copenhagen. The band plays vocal mainstream jazz, ballads and bossas with five experienced musicians. This is one of two Danish tour dates. Drop Inn opened in 1934 as a restaurant with cabaret entertainment and quickly became a haven for jazz enthusiasts and artists. The repertoire spans the great American songbook and Latin American numbers - including Antonio Carlos Jobim - alongside original compositions. Since its opening, the venue on Kompagnistræde has been a cornerstone of Copenhagen's jazz culture.

About the venue: Drop inn

Drop Inn on Kompagnistræde opened in 1934 as a restaurant with cabaret entertainment, soon nicknamed "Den røde ged" (The Red Goat) by Danish veterans of the Spanish Civil War. It became a refuge for jazz-loving bohemians, musicians and artists. Today it is an intimate live music venue with a near-floor-level stage, covering jazz, blues, rock and soul, with regular Jam Nights and a prominent role in the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
