Description was written before the event

Kasper Ørum is a 45-year-old Danish-language singer-songwriter now performing solo after years in the bands Uden loft, Kuldskær, KH.Ørum and ØRUM.

This evening is a release concert for his new EP "Silkepapir" - an album about his father's death and the emptiness that followed. The sound is stripped and bare: vocals and acoustic guitar, nothing more. Support from Nordly.

About the venue: Drop inn

Drop Inn on Kompagnistræde opened in 1934 as a restaurant with cabaret entertainment, soon nicknamed "Den røde ged" (The Red Goat) by Danish veterans of the Spanish Civil War. It became a refuge for jazz-loving bohemians, musicians and artists. Today it is an intimate live music venue with a near-floor-level stage, covering jazz, blues, rock and soul, with regular Jam Nights and a prominent role in the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
