Silence Before the Storm - Artificial Intelligence and Humanity's Future

Sven Tarp, professor and dr.ling.merc. at Aarhus University, presents his new book "Silence Before the Storm - Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Humanity" (Forlaget Arbejderen, 2026). The book's central argument is that AI's real danger does not lie in the technology itself, but in who controls it - and that AI in the hands of capitalist interests and the world's most powerful oligarchs becomes a tool for dominance rather than human liberation.

The event takes place at Trekanten - Library and Cultural Centre in Aalborg. Trekanten's Cafe is open for food and refreshments.
