Description was written before the event

Shampoobar takes the stage at Drop Inn on Kompagnistræde on Friday, 2 October 2026 at 20:00, with Strawberry Jesus opening the evening. This is one of only two Danish dates for the band in 2026. Drop Inn, which opened as a restaurant with cabaret entertainment in 1934, has long been a refuge for musicians and artists. Led by Kasper Hedegreen, Shampoobar works in a sonic landscape of blues, funk and acid rock. Admission is 120 kr.

About the venue: Drop inn

Drop Inn on Kompagnistræde opened in 1934 as a restaurant with cabaret entertainment, soon nicknamed "Den røde ged" (The Red Goat) by Danish veterans of the Spanish Civil War. It became a refuge for jazz-loving bohemians, musicians and artists. Today it is an intimate live music venue with a near-floor-level stage, covering jazz, blues, rock and soul, with regular Jam Nights and a prominent role in the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
