FRø - Film Screening with Introduction and Discussion

FRø is a Nordic documentary about the quiet power of seeds and the people who cultivate, preserve, study, or otherwise connect with them. The film explores how seeds carry the memories of the past, the choices of the present, and the possibilities of the future.

Before the screening, director Isabelle Denaro - known from the film 'Landbrugets Natur' and for her work with film aesthetics, nature, and communities - will give an introduction. After the film, there will be a discussion facilitated by Isabelle Denaro, along with an introduction by Grønne Nabofællesskaber and Sorø Library about local action opportunities and upcoming events focused on seeds.

The event is part of Klimaet Gentænkt and is created in collaboration between Grønne Nabofællesskaber, Danmarks Naturfredningsforening, Victoria Teatret, Sorø Municipality, and Sorø Library. In November, another edition of Klimaet Gentænkt will be shown at Victoria Teatret with the film "Ilden Vandet Jorden Luften" by Phie Ambo and others.
