Sorø Bykontor is the municipality's official tourist information point, housed in Sorø Library on Storgade - one of the town's oldest buildings, erected by Christian IV in 1623-25. Visitors can book guided tours of Sorø Klosterkirke and Sorø Akademi, reserve seats on the small excursion boat Lille Claus, and buy tickets for local events. The office also sells travel cards and period passes.
