Chris Copen and Johan Bylling Lang have been central figures in Copenhagen's blues and jazz scene for 10 years, playing together in numerous projects. This evening they present a funky programme featuring tracks from their own releases and classics from the soul, blues and R'n'B catalogue of New Orleans.

For the occasion they are joined by musicians from Jazz Five, Tuesday Night Brass Band and Monday Night Big Band.

About the venue: Drop inn

Drop Inn on Kompagnistræde opened in 1934 as a restaurant with cabaret entertainment, soon nicknamed "Den røde ged" (The Red Goat) by Danish veterans of the Spanish Civil War. It became a refuge for jazz-loving bohemians, musicians and artists. Today it is an intimate live music venue with a near-floor-level stage, covering jazz, blues, rock and soul, with regular Jam Nights and a prominent role in the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
