Throughout week 37, Tingbjerg Library & Cultural Centre hosts a full week of films with free entry to all events. Registration is via Billetto; check the library's website as spaces are added on an ongoing basis.

Monday: Himmelbio - Surprise Film at 7:30 PM
Popcorn and open sky - which film will roll across the screen remains a secret until darkness falls.

Tuesday, September 8: "The Fathers of Tingbjerg" at 10:30 AM
A 34-minute documentary about Café Majroe, which started as a Middle Eastern food club for fathers and has since grown into a social enterprise. The fathers tell their own stories about food, community and change in the neighbourhood. The film was made by ME-film for the project Dit og Mit Køkken in collaboration with the Danish Agency for Culture and Palaces, the Safety Partnership in Tingbjerg and the Film Workshop in Copenhagen.

Wednesday, September 9: Horror Short Films by 8th Grade at Tingbjerg School
Students from the 8th grade present the horror short films they produced during their school year.

Thursday, September 10: MiniBio at 10 AM
The librarian's selection of children's films for the youngest - aimed at children aged 3 to 6.

Thursday, September 10: Film Club - Special Edition at 7 PM
Tingbjerg's Local-Global Film Club features Mexican cinema: a 2024 adaptation of Juan Rulfo's 1955 novel, directed by Rodrigo Prieto from a screenplay by Mateo Gil. The story follows a young man searching for his father in the ghost town of Comala and finds himself in a no man's land between the living and the dead. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo and Tenoch Huerta play the lead roles. The film is shown with Danish subtitles and runs 130 minutes.

Before the film, Magnus Pharao Hansen - anthropologist and lecturer in Mesoamerican Studies at the University of Copenhagen - gives a presentation on Mexican culture.

Saturday, September 12: Film for the Whole Family at 11 AM
An animated film from 2022 about the mouse Yuku, who sets out up the mountain to find a rare flower. From age 5, duration 66 minutes.
