Svaneke Retreat for 1 Person. Double Room for 3 Nights

A drawing and watercolour retreat at Nansens Gård in the heart of Svaneke - three nights with sketchbook, harbour life and cliffs.

The course is for all levels. Teaching is based on the instructor's own methods and style, so the material is fresh regardless of experience. You will work with watercolour and drawing techniques, and the programme features subjects from smokehouses and boats at the harbour to cliffs and the farmyard. Nansens Gård has seven rooms on the first floor - all with a washbasin and mirror, while the bathroom and toilet are shared in the corridor. No two pieces of furniture are alike, and the art on the walls varies from room to room. The price covers a double room, meals, water, coffee and tea. Beer, water and the house wine are purchased separately via MobilePay. Transport to Svaneke and course materials are not included.

For the course, bring: an A5 or A4 sketchbook (e.g. Royal Talens, Moleskine or Seawhite), an A4 block of watercolour paper, a small palette with 6-12 half pans of watercolour paint, a black waterproof pen (e.g. Uni-ball Eye fine pen or Uni Pin fine Line 0.7), a watercolour brush size 10 or 12, and a kitchen roll. Registration is binding. Cancellation or date change must be made no later than 30 days before the course starts and costs 25% of the full course price. Transport: from Copenhagen, Kombardo bus runs to the ferry from Ystad to Rønne, and from there the local BAT bus goes directly to Svaneke harbour - check the timetable for the fastest route from you.
