Songs of Travel - from Winterreise to Schubert's Trout Quintet

Jens Søndergaard opens the Schubertiaden at Koncertkapellet in Roskilde on Friday, 21 August 2026 at 19:30. The concert features song cycles by Schubert and Vaughan Williams alongside Schubert's Trout Quintet, with Søndergaard singing alongside a chamber ensemble. This is the first of three Danish concert dates for the artist this summer. Koncertkapellet, which opened in May 2024 in the renovated Sankt Jørgensbjerg Chapel, is dedicated to classical and acoustic music with an emphasis on unamplified sound, allowing the audience to sit close to the musicians. Tickets cost 70 kroner.
