Murder Mystery

Join Svendborg Brætspilscafé and students from UCL's Film Production Management programme for an intense murder mystery experience set against the backdrop of a film production gone wrong.

Atlas Pictures is filming a youth drama in Svendborg. During a late-night shoot at the harbour, the DIT assistant Thomas is sent to Svendborg Brætspilscafé, where the production team is based, to back up the day's footage. He never arrives. When the film crew discovers Thomas is missing, a frantic search begins. The next morning, his body is found in the harbour with signs of a violent blow to the head. To make matters worse, the backup hard drive containing the film's raw material has been locked with a new code.

Now it's up to you to solve the murder, identify the culprit, and crack the code to save the film. Can you piece together the clues and uncover the truth before time runs out?

On the day, you'll receive an envelope with clues, maps, and codes to help you solve the mystery. From there, it's about teamwork, creative thinking, and finding hidden connections. The hunt takes you around Brætspilscafé and into nearby Svendborg, where new clues await.

You can arrive as a complete team or come alone - we'll pair you with others so everyone can participate. Arrive early - we start at 13:00 sharp. Bring at least one smartphone per team (more is welcome). Dress for the weather - part of the event takes place outdoors. Spaces are limited - first come, first served!
