A drawing and watercolour retreat at Nansens Gård in Svaneke over 3 nights - for one person in a single room.

The course is for all levels. Teaching is based on the instructor's own techniques and methods, so the material is fresh regardless of experience. Over the days, sketchbooks fill with motifs from smokehouses and boats at the harbour, cliffs and scenes from the grounds. Nansens Gård is located in the heart of Svaneke. The grounds are surrounded by half-timbered buildings and a courtyard garden with art. Single rooms are on the first floor - there are 7 rooms in total, all with a washbasin and mirror, while bathrooms and toilets are shared in the corridor. The price includes the room, meals, water, coffee and tea. Beer, water and the house wine are purchased separately via MobilePay. Transport to Svaneke and course materials are not included.

For the course, bring: an A5 or A4 sketchbook (e.g. Royal Talens, Moleskine or Seawhite), an A4 block of watercolour paper, a small palette with 6-12 half pans of watercolour paints, a black waterproof pen (e.g. Uni-ball Eye fine pen or Uni Pin fine Line 0.7), a watercolour brush size 10 or 12, and a kitchen roll. Registration is binding. Cancellation or date change must be made no later than 30 days before the course starts and incurs a fee of 25% of the full course price.
