Four-Hand Piano Works with Rikke Sandberg and Kristoffer Hyldig

Rikke Sandberg and Kristoffer Hyldig bring four-hand piano works to Koncertkapellet in Roskilde on Sunday, 23 August 2026. The programme features works by Schubert, Brahms and Carl Nielsen, including a newly discovered arrangement of Nielsen's Sinfonia espansiva for four-hand piano - a manuscript discovered by Sandberg at the Royal Library. This is one of four Danish concert dates for the duo. Koncertkapellet, which opened in May 2024 in the renovated Sankt Jørgensbjerg Chapel, is dedicated to classical and acoustic music with an emphasis on unamplified sound, allowing the audience to sit close to the musicians. Tickets cost 50 kr.
