Immersive Piano Concert with Tanja Zapolski

Pianist Tanja Zapolski brings her meditative concert to Koncertkapellet in Roskilde on Thursday, 27 August 2026 at 19:30. The venue, which opened in May 2024 in the renovated Sankt Jørgensbjerg Chapel at Sankt Hans Gade 51, is dedicated to classical and acoustic music with an emphasis on unamplified sound. The grand piano is placed in the centre of the room, and the audience can sit on benches along the walls or lie on yoga mats around the instrument. The concert unfolds without applause or interruptions - the music is allowed to resonate in silence and presence. The programme ranges from Bach to contemporary composers such as Philip Glass and Ludovico Einaudi. This is one of three Danish dates on the tour. Admission 70 kr.
